It has now been four years since global cooling happened. We have significantly regressed as a population and now have to remain inside 95% of the year in order to survive. We rely on online shopping to get basic necessities and the only people who don’t work from home or in a heated communal space are the technicians that have to visit people’s houses to take urgent service calls.
I particularly feel sorry for the technicians who are responsible for doing annual ducted heating services. Canberra residents have become so reliant on these people and everyone needs their technicians to be quick and efficient or they’ll risk freezing to death. It’s really scary how much global cooling has impacted our world and will continue to impact our lives for the years to come.
Fortunately for me as a Canberran, the ducted heating services technicians are extremely good at their jobs. They’re so efficient and know exactly what they’re doing. It’s incredible really. Without them, I don’t know where I’d be today. I wouldn’t end up freezing like those protestors but I probably wouldn’t be as comfortable and healthy as I currently am.
Seriously, thank God for heater servicing. Local to Canberra (and all over the world) it is as big of a necessity as having running drinking water or shelter. There’s no point having shelter if you’re not warm inside it. Global cooling has made it almost impossible to be warm without the help of technology. It is seriously bizarre to think of any other time period where we didn’t have to worry about this sort of thing.
Living with global cooling is never something that I’ll be able to get used to, but just like everyone else, I have had to adapt. It’s either eat or be eaten, and the last thing I want is to be eaten alive by the cold air. Shiver – no thanks.
