Painful Plantar Fasciitis

Ugh. I just need a moment to take a breather. Everything is so stressful right now. Not only was there an EARTHQUAKE this morning, I just couldn’t get what I needed to get right at work. Do you know how frustrating it is to have something on the tip of your tongue and not be able to say it properly? I was already shaken up enough from the earthquake (pun intended) and then I just couldn’t settle properly and it impacted me for the rest of the day. I just need to take a moment to relax.

Okay, after a bit of a breather I’m feeling a bit better. But I’ve noticed that my previously painful plantar fasciitis is playing up and it hurts just as much as it used to before I spent months working on it with a podiatrist. I think I must’ve hurt my foot today when I was bracing myself during the earthquake. I was really trying to keep my balance and my feet were clenched to the floor.

I’ve obviously hurt something in my foot that I spent months trying to fix, which is super annoying. I guess I’ll have to dig out my old foot care products. Cheltenham has one of the best foot specialists in the Melbourne area, and I made sure to attend that specialist. I knew that if anything ever happened to my feet again, which my foot specialist warned could be a possibility, I’d be able to use the foot care products my podiatrist gave me and start repairing my feet again.

Honestly, I thought I would feel better getting away from work for a bit and practising some mindfulness. Alas, I don’t feel any calmer and now I’m just aware that my plantar fasciitis has flared up, which has made me feel even more average. Today certainly hasn’t been the best day I’ve ever had.
