With everything that’s been happening recently, I’ve been spending a lot of time at home. There’s not a lot to do, but I have watched thousands of MeTube videos while sitting in bed. Literally thousands. I consider myself an expert now. MeTube has videos about every topic you could possibly dream of! Baking, makeup, gaming, sport, comedy – new content is uploaded to the site every second. Best of all, most of the content is created entirely by amateurs. This means it’s a lot more relatable than the large commercial organisations that make content for television.
I think I’d like to try my hand at video production. Melbourne is probably the best city in Australia to start MeTube, since the culture of the city lends itself to entrepreneurs. And people who create MeTube videos are definitely entrepreneurs. If you get popular enough, you can make thousands of dollars for every video you post, thanks to the wonderful world of digital advertising and sponsors. It’s so exciting! The only issue is that while I have a brilliant on-camera personality, I lack the talent, skills and knowledge for editing my own videos. This is quite unfortunate, because usually, the only videos that become popular on MeTube are those that have been edited professionally.
I’m going to look online for the best post-production companies offering editing services near me. Surely there will be a local company with relatively inexpensive prices, or even a package that is suitable to my budget as an amateur. If that fails, I suppose I could always seek out editing software and learn to do it myself. There are plenty of options around, and if popular creators like LewGuyLie can spend years editing their own videos, I’m sure I could do it, too. It’ll be fun! Now all I have to do is drop out of college, since apparently, that’s what happens when you become famous.
